In line with this commitment, we periodically assess our facilities to ensure they continue to meet the evolving needs and expectations of those we serve.

After recent evaluations, we have made the difficult decision to close our swimming pools to the public for this year. This step is part of a broader consideration of our facilities' future, as we embark on a phase of redevelopment planning. The nature of this redevelopment and the future uses of the property are currently under careful consideration, with a focus on how best to serve our community and visitors in the long term.

We recognize the swimming pools have been a beloved feature of Boji Bay for many, and this decision was not made lightly. It reflects our dedication to thoughtful, strategic planning for the future, even when it means making tough choices in the present.

Although the pools will not be available, we invite you to discover other facets of the Okoboji area that continue to make our area special. From scenic trails and open spaces to community events, there remains a wealth of activities to enjoy and explore.
