Things to Know
Boji Bay has 2 pools with depth ranging from 3' to 3' 6"
Oval - 2,270 square feet
Bean shape - 1,946 square feet with hot tub
Boji Bay pools capacity is 40 individuals at one time (20 individuals in each pool).
4 individuals in hot tub at one time. Individuals must be at least 16 years old to use the hot tub.
Children 7 and under MUST have an adult/gaurdian within arm's reach while in the pool.
Children ages 8-12 MUST have an adult/gaurdian present at the facility.
Breaks will be called at :50 every hour for 10 minutes. Please exit the pool during these times to allow for cleaning and breaks
Chairs will be limited; you may bring your own if you like.
Participants will be encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer and sunscreen. Dispensers for sunscreen and sanitizing will be made available.
Food & Beverage
Food & Beverage available at the concession stand at Bouncelandia.
No alcohol will be allowed in the Boji Bay pool area.
Covid-19 Safety Precautions
Wear your mask to your seat and then you can remove.
Social distance is highly recommended inside the pools and capacity in the Boji Bay pools will be limited to 40 individuals at one time to ensure social distancing.
Learn to swim
Swim lessons are offered at the Bedell Family YMCA in Spirit Lake. One-on-one instruction, or semi private, which is two or three individuals at a prearranged time.
July 14-16, 2020
The Bedell YMCA Swim Camp is for ages 8 and above. This clinic is highly competitive. Those who wish to participate need to be able to swim a 50 freestyle continuously. Training will focus on physical conditioning, superior stroke instruction, and analysis.
The camp is on a first come, first served basis. Early registration is recommended. Limit 15 swimmers.
FEE: $170 (includes camp t-shirt)

Barracuda Swim Team
The Bedell Barracudas Swim Team is a recreational competitive program that provides the guidance and practice to develop proper stroke technique while continuing to build endurance. Swimmers are encouraged but not required to attend every scheduled practice and/or meet.
Ages: 5-18 years (Must be YMCA member for duration of the season)
